Going back to my home country, Philippines after 7 years in Thailand was a mixed feelings: I was so happy to see my family - father, mother, brothers, sisters, etc. after such a long period of time. I was so excited to show my family and friends my skills on my new found sport (lawn tennis) I have learnt so much in Thailand. I was happy to introduce my own family to everyone. I was so sad to know that my mother could no longer recognize me. I was sad to learn that my uncle and my former colleague died with a heart attack. I was worried that I would be running out of money for I cannot say no to any members of my family asking me some amount. I got irritated when ATM machines declines to dispense money for my many cash withdrawal attempts for the same reason that no switch path available. I got irritated with the inconsistencies of the POEA people statements regarding tax exemptions and terminal fees for dependent wife and children. However, in the end, I was very glad to realize that God has allowed me to experience all these things noticing that most of our prayers regarding this vacation were answered.
