Whatever the mind of a man can conceive and believe, it can achieve.
Law of Moderation Especially when Getting Older
Filed under: Health and Wealth and Sports

Playing so much tennis (2 hours straight – three sets) after office hours and sleeping at 2 O’clock in the morning didn’t give me good health benefits. Instead, as expected, I got the opposite – became sick afterwards.

Tuesday evening after office hours, though it was raining, I could not say no to the planned tennis schedule. The rain was on and off, so do with our tennis friendly match with my opponent until it was over. I won the single game match that evening after one hour.

Two days later on Thursday at the same time, it was followed up with another exciting three matches winning only one of the three sets with the same opponent and the match was extended to another hour, for both of us were not yet satisfied and the weather and time allowed us to do so.

Sleeping only about four hours and waking up at around 7:30 A.M., my day on Friday was so heavy and I could no longer do my planned exercise in our office gym. Then, shopping for more than an hour after office hours made my health condition worse.

So, I came to reflect on the basic reality in life that when we are getting older, we must apply the law of moderation. Too much of anything really brings negative results to our health.
