Life really is very unpredictable; it’s like a wheel: sometimes you are on the top, and sometimes you are at the bottom.

If you can still recall, in the Philippines, the life of the former Philippine President, Ferdinand E. Marcos, for sometimes was on the top, and then later was at the bottom. If you look at the life of the former Prime Minister of Thailand, Dr. Thaksin, he was also at the top for sometimes, and then unexpectedly, at this moment at the bottom. They are just the ones of those many well-known people whom we can see that life in this world, aside from the fact that it’s only transient, it is really also very unpredictable. Some of their friends for sometimes, had shown loyalty to them and even died in the end. However, many of their friends for whatever reasons had turned their heads away from them.

It’s the reality of life which we can possibly influence, but we cannot change. If it’s happening on the elites, it’s also happening on the lives of the ordinary people. It’s very difficult to keep the friendships at all times. Even at Jesus Christ’s time, Peter had denied Him three times.

Anyway, however, the latter was forgiven. True and real friend like Jesus Christ is the only one whom we can expect everything unconditionally. Even suffering physical pain at the cross, He was still able to say “Father, forgive them for they did not know what they are doing”

Nowadays, only few can do what Jesus had done. It’s really not easy to walk with the talk. However, it’s possible; we only need prayer to achieve this.
