What we are today is the result of our action of yesterday and what we are tomorrow, will be the result of our action today.
So many things are happening in world today. There are wars and conflicts here and there; there are violence, hatred, injustice, corruptions, poverty, disease, earthquakes, tornados, global warming, economic crises and etc.
With the world situation now, no country, no man or human solutions can totally solve this century long problems. Trying to solve them without focusing on the root causes, would only bring results that bring us another problem.
If you examine the sacred history written in the Bible, these problems we are experiencing now are not new. There’s nothing new under the sun so far. History repeats itself and many had questioned that if there’s God, why is He allowing these things to happen? Well, God give us the free will to choose. History is laid down for us to learn from. And if we think that it’s been too long a time that same things happening again and again, well, God’s time is not the same as human time. God’s one second probably is a billion or trillion years for us human (animal maybe).
Jesus taught us one thing that for me is the only solution to the root causes of the many problems that will in turn solve the other problems. He only asked us to “love one another as I have loved you”. Yes, nobody has ever seen God, but if we love one another, God lives with us, and His love spreads freely among us.
So, when there’s love, everything will just follow: there will be no more wars, no more conflicts, no more violence, no more corruptions, no more hatred, no more injustice, no more poverty, and no more disease. We may not be able to solve natural calamities, however, because of love, we can help each other control, minimize or eliminate the effects.
When economic crises happens, because of love, we can talk openly and contribute ideas on how to tackle the problem, instead of showing our pride creating tension around just to cover up or hide the most pressing problems to divert people’s attentions.
