History tells us that carrying along one’s pride when dealing with every critical situation always yield negative results.
Few examples are those previous wars the world had: Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan wars. Fortunately, everybody had second thoughts about taking military actions over Iran.
Now the world is confronted again with another similar problem which surely will lead to the same situation when matters are not deeply and seriously examined and considered.
North Korea is only asking for an apology from those concerned responsible people representing the United Nations and the world condemning it for its January, 2009’s missile launch. By ignoring it, we had just seen the initial negative results. More can be expected sooner or later.
What if the North Korean are really serious of its request for an apology and then everything would be fined? Well, it’s understandable that due to the way it had acted previously, the other party won’t trust it anymore. But what if it’s true this time and everybody has made a wrong decision? Then, we will expect at least the same result as above or much worst this time considering the military might of the North Korea with its nuclear arms and power ready.
There’s no regret that will come first – it always comes later. Why not do a 180 degrees turn of the way to handle the situation?
Truly, all the world leaders need God’s guidance on how to deal with the North Korea. In the absence of God’s way to solve the problem or doing the right decision to deal with it will surely leads to a greatest catastrophe.
It’s surely a great challenge for the leaders, especially those who believe in God and His Son, Jesus Christ. But I believe those who love God and his family will deal North Korea the way God wants. Anything that is done in a violent way is not of God’s – it’s of the enemy’s decision.
The situation and the possible outcomes based on a violent way can be compared to a story about the father and the son that goes as follows. The father was repainting his car and the father had noticed his son writing something on the new paint and immediately on his anger, hammered his son’s right hand and the son was hospitalized and had his hand amputated. The son then asked his father “Dad, when will my right hand grow again?” The father who could not answer his son’s question went home and found the writing that says “Daddy, I love you very much.” In his regret, he killed himself.
Hope that it won’t happen this way, otherwise, decision makers acting not in accordance with the will of God, should kill themselves, as well.
God’s commandments: Love one another as I have loved you. Love your neighbor as you love yourself.
