Whatever the mind of a man can conceive and believe, it can achieve.
Trip to Egypt

It’s a mixed of feelings having this opportunity to see another country, especially when it is part of the long history of human civilization.

For one part, it’s sad for once again I have to leave my family for a while to do my task in this country. It’s tiring for it took us from Bangkok, Thailand about nine hours to reach Cairo International Airport and along the way, it’s really scary for many times the plane was shaking violently possibly due to the weather conditions it had passed through. My tiredness might not be the same as the others because I had good night sleep for I had no seatmate. So, I had managed to lay down my whole body over the two seats while my feet were curling – better than just sitting the whole nine hours.

On the other part, it’s relieving seeing Cairo very early in the morning few minutes before the plane has landed. Sun emerging from the other side of the earth shines over the other parts of it, including Egypt, and slowly beautifully illuminating the whole land of the country. The huge part of Egypt was covered by a huge ocean and wavy cotton like gray cloud of the colorful morning. It’s like watching morning stars or starry dawn down below for the city lights were still alive. I was reminded of the time of Moses when he leads God’s people – Israel – out of Egypt. During the day, clouds were over them to protect them from the heat of the sun, and during the night they were provided with God’s light to brighten their paths.

My face was smoothly touched with the cool morning wind when everyone got down the plane and hurry down to the bus to carry us all to the immigration in the airport.

Few minutes before lunch time, the heat was still bearable, but from 1:30 P.M. to 4:00 P.M., it’s too hot that you don’t like to get out from the hotel. I am discouraged to go around, except to the place where our client’s office – MobiServe - is located during our meeting schedules.

So, with this temperature, I hope I could manage to visit the other wonder of the world – the Pyramids of Egypt in Giza after fulfilling my whole task in this country.
