President Barack Obama’s Visit to Cairo, Egypt
Filed under: Arts & Humanities and Current Events and GOD's Wisdom and History and Travel and Work

I was there in Cairo, Egypt from June 1 to June 5, 2009 and I had witnessed how the Egyptian government had prepared its country for the US president’s visit.

The traffic jams were gone at least for that day – June 4, 2009. My ways to the Pyramids in Giza and back to my hotel were so smooth. Unfortunately, the entrance to the Pyramids was closed and was only opened for President Obama’s visit. The Egyptian people were not frustrated about it and so do I for everyone knew that it’s a kind of a gesture that would give a positive impression to the US President.

Anyway, I had my visit to the Pyramid on the following day, Friday, June 5, 2009.

President Barack Obama’s visit to Egypt was really a very intelligent approach. I heard Egyptian people talking positively about him. I just hope that President Obama’s speech, especially on the subject regarding Israel and Palestine issues will be concretized soon. Egyptian people are hoping and praying for it.

We’ll just hope and pray that all the parties involved are supportive to President Obama’s approaches to realize his visions for the whole world, particularly on those regions in Israel and Palestine, and of course, without forgetting the agenda for Iran and North Korea.
