Federer was happy to have attained it, but it would have been relieving and boasting for him had he achieved it by beating Nadal. I know that he and his fans are happy, but Federer is not 100% happy, because he wanted to get it directly from Nadal. Now the result confirms his feeling that he is really just the number 2 in the world of tennis. Attaining his goal by beating Nadal during this recent French Open would not have only gave him the desired satisfaction he had dreamed about, but also gave him the moral boast and the huge impact that can ignite his old great feelings when he was the world number 1. So, the impact would have been so great if it was with Rafael Nadal, the current number 1 in the Tennis World.
