Technological advances nowadays affect a lot in many aspects of our lives both positively and negatively. On the positive sides, computers, laptops, computer notebooks, mobile phones or cell phones and Internet helped a lot in our daily works. It gave us lots of conveniences that were not enjoyed by all the people in the old days.

However, these same technologies are the ones that gave us problems in our society and most sadly in our own family: financially, emotionally and spiritually. Spiritually, due to the many hours we have spent with them everyday, especially, computers, laptops or computer notebooks hooked up to the Internet, playing this very popular social network site – called Facebook, lots of us have wasted our precious times playing those games there.

Many Christians don’t have time anymore to open their Bible, or if they still have time left, it’s no longer a quality time for the Lord, for they are already exhausted for wasting their precious times playing those computer games online.

Financially, due to more hours spent on the Internet, electrical usages have increased every month, and due to many calls to be made each day using our mobile phone or cell phone, more phone bills are added each month adding to those that already at hands.

As a result of all these things, emotional problems are carried by most of us every day. So, since we know that there are positive and negative factors brought about by these technologies we are enjoying now, all we need to do is to do balance, and of course, to help us on this, we need God’s interventions.
