Today was another very busy Saturday. I was awaken up at 3:30 A.M. from a stomach discomfort and could not sleep anymore. So, I had to do my daily activities earlier than usual. I read Paul’s whole letter to the Collosians for about 30 minutes and then spent around 30 minutes playing my guitar singing spiritual songs.
At 5:30 A.M., I took my breakfast – 3 kinds of fruits, and then took a shower afterward. At 6:30 A.M. I headed towards the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) campus for my weekend tennis with my brothers in Couples For Christ (CFC) Community.
After playing three sets of tennis (winning only one set) with two groups of double opponents, I had a business meeting with Tony Guirnela, my Vital C business partner at AIT. Afterward, I rushed home – 30 kilometers away – to supposedly pick-up my family for our 5 P.M. household prayer meeting nearby AIT. However, my wife was not feeling well, and our three daughters really want to do swimming in their plastic swimming pool, so I had to prepare everything: pumping air to it and then putting water on in manually.
Then, at 3:30 P.M. I had rushed towards the same direction as in the morning, but this time it’s about two kilometers shorter. At around 6:00 P.M. we had started our household prayer meeting and then when it was finished, we had our other meeting for our CLP preparation in Rangsit Church on the following day. We ended up with a very delicious dinner and few minutes later watching concerts in front of the television featuring those popular but now old Bands like Eagles, Beatles, Queen, etc. We had also watched some of Charice Pempengco’s beautiful and wonderful performances in the U.S.
I went out at Kuya Jess and Ate Lolit’s home (host of the household prayer meeting of the day) with Pats and Carla, and I got down at AIT bus stop waiting for the Van going to either BTS Mochit or Victory Monument. Two Vans had passed but non had picked up any passenger because it’s already 15 minute passed 9 O’clock. I was about to walk across the straight thinking that there’s no more chance I could take a Van. So I decided to take a long trip by taking a Bus, but in my few steps ahead, I heard a whisper that there’s one more Van coming. I believed on it, and with confidence in God that I could really get back home before 12:00 midnight, about 10 minutes later, the Van came. It traveled very fast and it took us only about 20 minutes to reach Victory Monument. I then took a taxi home for only 8 minutes and I arrived home at 10:23 P.M.
I praise and thank you my Lord, God for all the strength and energy that you had given me which allows me to do all these activities and for allowing me to hear your voice in my very busy day today.
